Please Read Regarding Kits & Some Sad News

Hello everyone
I see the jealous trouble makers are at it again. They have nothing better to do than go round blogs and reporting people to designers about usgae of their stuff. Unfortunatly ive had to remove my last 2 kits Pink Ladybugs & Santa & Co. The site i bought the tubes from said that i could use them as tubes but had to use a texture, which i did. Ive been told since by the designer that the tou needs to be followed from her site, so i guess where i bought the tubes from have the wrong tou. Ive bought loads of tubes as well from the designer over the last few days so im a bit upset by it all.
Im sorry if you downloaded the kit, im not sure if this means you cant use it anymore, i really couldnt tell you. Might be best to delete it.

Also i would like to say that i will no longer be making scrapkits etc. Im tired of all the crap that goes with it, cant use this that the other. People rushing out & buying stuff months before so that when others come to use them its already been done. I think the scrapping world has been ruined by too many people making scrapkits & also too many PTU kits,. No one is writing tuts anymore :S so ill be concentrating on writing tuts lmao. I have put all my scrapping stuff which is over 10gig away.
Thank you to everyone for their comments in the past & im glad you enjoyed my kits
-x-

That totally sucks real bad. You have great talent with your scrap kits and I really enjoyed seeing all your new stuff. I don't understand why people always have to ruin things. I do understand your decision on not making anymore kits but I hope maybe in the future you will reconsider. Just know that there are people out there that enjoy(ed) your work and appreciate all the time you took to make them and then share them with us. :) :)

Well that truly bites! You were working so hard, making some great kits that I could use, and enjoy with various tubes. They always went with everything, so many colors. I am so sorry to hear that people are pulling this stuff again. Ruins the entire PSP joy for everyone else.

Dear Yvette,

I'm sorry about your decission to stop making your beautiful scrapkits. I've used several of them to create wishingcards with. I love your style of scrapkits very much. But I can understand the reason. It must be very frustrating to see things being ruined. Why does that always have to happen? Thank you very much for all the material you shared with us! I really loved your work!

I'm so sorry for your sake and I don't understand these people when you buy things to use in scrapkits! Thank you ever so much for the ones you have shared.

It seems that there are always the trouble makers out there who like to make it difficult on others. I guess they aren't happy until they make others miserable. I am so sorry that one or more of these people have crossed your path. You are very talented and I so enjoyed your kits. I hate to see you stop making kits because you are so good. It makes me mad and sad to hear that you are giving up on your craft. Being a crafter myself I know how hard your decision was. I am looking forward though to your tuts. Can't wait to see what you come up with. I am hoping that things will cool down and sometime in the future you will start making the kits again. Keep smiling, things will get better for you. These mean people will get what they deserve in the end. Keep the faith.

I'll try this again...sorry for the delete. I'm so bummed for you on many levels, and also for us who loved your work! I do understand the decision, tho', since I recently quit creating for a "my space/glittery graphics" site because of the same issues.

Your wonderful work will be greatly missed, but I look forward to the tuts!!

Try to enjoy your holidays, in spite of this great big damper!

Well, isn't that just typical! The mingyness of a very few spoiling it for the majority. I'm just glad I don't live their miserable, clearly unfulfilled lives. I'll miss your pretty kits, hon. Good luck for your future ventures.

Ya know, people should just mind their own business. BUT I guess that this is a way to make themselves feel important.

I just discovered your site and your kits were perfect for me--just my style!

We went through this type of thing with the rubber stamp industry. When I started stamping about 15 years ago, many of the designers and stamp companies didn't want their stuff used on items to sell. Guess they thought everyone in the world stamped and it would keep them from making money. WRONG! There were lots of folks who didn't want to stamp but loved the handmade cards, etc and were willing to pay for them (not a huge amount however). A lot of stampers stopped buying from companies that were not what are called "angels"--they are the ones who allow it as long as it is hand stamped. Also, business dropped some and now they are greatful to have you buy their stuff and use it on stuff to sell. Believe me, it is now a win-win situation. With all the competition, the artists should be greatful to have their stuff out there in the public eye, because it will just mean more sales really. If an artist lets you use her stuff without hassle, you are just gonna end up buying MORE! I wish they would get a clue!

Well, darn! I'm so sorry for your aggravation and you certainly have every reason to be upset. I'm upset with you because I enjoy your kits so much. You're talented and very generous, sharing with us. I'm sure I'll love your tuts just as much but I'll miss the scraps. Thanks for all you do!

I am really sorry to hear this Yvette ... such talent obviously being attacked by others shrouded in complete jealousy!

I hope that you change your mind at some time and come back to making scrap kits.

So sorry to hear this Yvette however I can understand how disheartening it must be to have others carry on with this crap all the time. I'm sure they are just jealous of your talents. Thank you so much for all that you have shared with us. (Hugs) Keryn (aka Kessa)

I hope that whatever you do decide to do in the future, that you will keep us advised, so we can share in your passion and talent for PSP, kits and tutorials. This really is NOT FAIR!
Please keep us advised.

I am so sad that this has happened! I love your stuff too. Why do people have to be so mean-spirited, jealous and stingy? I know this has happened to other designers too and it totally is wrong. God bless you for being so generous. I look forward to your tuts.

Dear Yvette,
I am saddened to hear this news since I love your kits, but I completely understand.
I think that as soon as you add money into the mix in any situation, it always goes bad. I remember when I began with paint shop over 8 years ago, no one cared about copyright or getting paid, we all just created for fun and stress relief. Then first the artists decided they could make money off of us, and then the PSP community had to pay for their tube purchases, so they had to figure out a way to make money as well and then the massive greed began. It just sucks the fun and stress relief right out of it.
It truely makes me sad...sorry this happened to you hon....jump out and do what makes you the happiest. Dont let them suck the fun out of it for you.

I hate to see you stop creating. I just found your site this morning and I fell in love with the ladybugs. I have 2 friends who go nuts over them so I though I would use them today. I have a firewall at work so I couldn't download there. I was so very sat to find that I missed them because you took them down.

Oh I'm so very sad to read this I love your scrapkits so much and it's a pity that you have decided to stop making them you're so talented...why are people ruin everything with their rules it makes no sense hugggs Maria

Ack! I'm so mad! I love your site! Although I respect your decision, I do have to beg you not to go.... your things are just so wonderful, and truly appreciated by all! I will look forward to some tutorials, as I'm a beginner, and there doesn't seem to be ONE site that really explains how to make ALL of the scrabpookin stuff.

I'm sorry you have had such negative experiences. It's because of the GREED of some of these companies...some people made money with some things, now they want more money for more things. If they keep changing their rules, they will eventually put off people from buying anything from them, so they are shooting themselves in the foot...please don't let it put you off the scrapping community altogether though, your work is lovely even without the paid bits!

I'm glad this has come out though because I just purchased some clip art not to long ago and now i would hate to use it if there are going to be people that are going to try and ruin it and say i can't use it. Thats a bunch of BS!! if you buy it and it says cu i think you should be able to use it like you want uggh.Well I hope you don't quit making kits. *Big Hugs*

Yvette it will be a shame to see you stop, you started out as a tagger /then tut writer then scrapper. you along with alot of others taggers decided to start scrapping. its everyones right to do what they want. look back to only last year when the tut writers were under attack, maybe thats why you turned to scrapping who knows.

At the end of the day people are still tutting, an people will keep scrapping, The world keeps on turning!!it's up to you wether you let people beat you down.Im sure you can give as much as you get. think on it.!! Doesn't matter what you do or don't there will always be annoynmous, flittering around waiting for you to slip up and make a mistake don't matter if your scrapping or Tutting!! so at the end of the day do what you want to do and bugger the others

oh please, Yvette, dont quit, for you're one of the best..so sad here...begging you not to quit..kindly reconsider...

Wow I don't know quite whats going on. But from what I read it sure isn't good.
I buy a lot of scrap kits and I sure hope you don't quit making them. There is always going to be jelousy going on. I don't know why it has to be that way. But if someone is that jelous then I guess that means your kits are the shit lol. Don't let anyone make you quit at what your so good at hun.

Yvette please do not let someone make you stop doing something that you love so much! I posted about this in my group and they had a fit! LOTS and LOTS of people benifit from your kits and the things that you do and share your a wonderful person! Dont ever forget that! I dont usually say alot but this right here struck a nerve with me, so many people use PTU kits in tuts and so many people are left out because of it. I have seen tags made with FTU kits that are just AWESOME tuts using some of your kits! and then I have seen tuts just shelled out like candy made from PTU kits which now days you can really truly say are a dime a dozen....LOL there is no thought no effort put into the tags its just about selling those kits and it is just not fair! If I use a kit its not because of the little snowmen or other tubes in the kit I love a real kit one that you have to use ur imagintion beautiful frames and papers you do not need all that other mess.I love flowers and things like that and I know alot of other people that do as well. Well see now you have made me go and run on and show my arse....LOL But I do believe you are worth it. You just look long and hard at what you do for people and please know how much you are appreciated and Loved! Ok im off of here I know ur a smart cookie and will do the right thing. Missys right cant have Misfits with just one now can you....
Big HUGS Nae

Oh, no - so sad to hear this - I hope you change your mind and carry on as you have beautiful kits and are a wonderful designer. There are so many people out there that just cannot afford to buy kits that to lose such a talented lady like yourself would be such a massive shame... Please, please don't stop - we love your work!!!

Some people aren't happy unless they are griping about something, I quit doing doing tags because everyone has different rules, so I make my own Posers I make, But the tute writers the tube people and even some scrappers, encourage people to snitch on and report anyone making one little mistake, MY optnion that is the same as a Nazi that is what they did was encourage people to snitch on each other..

Melis said...

I am really sorry to hear that you had your problems too. It sure seems like there are alot of people out there making nasty comments about the nicest people and the most talented. Now Tantrum is closing.. very sad.. Amanda is a very nice and sweet person and doesn't deserve it anymore than you do.. what is wrong with people out there..nothing better to do. I hope you change your mind..and I agree, you don't need the clipart.. please don't stop..we love your work

I am sorry to hear you are having problems, The whole world of graphics is ruint by GREED..I have quit tagging because of all the rules and regulations.. Even if they all would agree on the same TOU would help, but trying to remember each artist and each scrapper's terms of use is impossible.. And these graphic groups just encourage all this nonsense/.. I made tags and gave them away, wasn't even trying to make a dime but they still gripe at you..
